Lyvora ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Lyvora mobile application.

Account data: email address and household profile (language, country, dietary preferences).
Purchase data: grocery items, quantities, prices, and store information you record.
Health & fitness data: nutrition goals, dietary restrictions, allergens, fitness level, and activity preferences you voluntarily provide.
Voice recordings: audio captured when you use the voice input feature, processed in real time and not stored.
Camera images: photos of receipts or barcodes taken within the app, used solely for data extraction and not stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide personalized shopping lists, nutrition recommendations, and fitness plans.
To learn your consumption habits and improve stock predictions.
To send push notifications about expiring products or low stock.
To improve our AI models and app features in aggregate, anonymized form.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Lyvora:

Groq: AI language model processing (text and voice). Data is sent to Groq's API and subject to their privacy policy.
Open Food Facts: Nutritional data lookup by barcode. No personal data is shared.
Supabase: Database hosting.
Expo / EAS: App distribution and push notification delivery.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the app.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

8. Children's Privacy

Lyvora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
